This will make the competition challenging and exciting at the same time. A minimum of 26 seats are allocated at the finals and this improves the quality and competitiveness of the South Asian Spelling Bee.
The South Asian Spelling Bee is an annual competition held in the United States for children of South Asian descent. This spelling bee tours the country mid-year in search for the top two spellers from 5 cities nationwide. The finalists will then battle it out in the national rounds for the spelling bee crown.

For the 2021 season which is being conducted as a hybrid model with virtual and in-person events any speller born on or after Sep 12006 is eligible to participate.
